Today I prayed.
Lord, if my prayer life shows my dependence on you, then I am pretty dependent on myself.
I've written ten different things out after this simple little prayer, trying to go more in depth, but I couldn't come up with anything. I'm okay with that! This prayer doesn't really need an explanation anyway. It's just an acknowledgement of my desperate need for Jesus, a confession of my self-dependence, and a cry of repentance.
